3-D Printing from R Is Total Awesomeness


For all you coders (and 3D geeks) familiar with R. DPC forwarded this on to me as I like to print sculptures on zcorps, etc. Pretty awesome stuff. "Package author Duncan Murdoch has added the ability to export such 3-D objects in formats used by 3-D printers (such as STL, WebGL, PLY, and OBJ). Duncan used this feature to create the corresponding real-world sculpture below..." More?
